SeekOut is an annual family friendly arts and music micro festival. In order to operate, SeekOut needs to gather, store and use certain forms of information about individuals. This policy explains how this data should be collected, stored and used in order to meet SeekOut data protection standards and comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

SeekOut only collect information that is necessary to run a safe and enjoyable festival.

1. Buying Tickets

Tickets are purchased via the Grand Venue website. The Grand have their own Privacy Policy which can be found on their website via this link. The Grand only share ticket buyer’s name and ticket details with us so that we can process the ticket and provide entry to the festival.

 

2. Mailing list

If individuals opt in, we will need their email address to keep them up to date with the latest news, headliner info, competitions and those super important last-minute announcements.

 

3. Feedback

If individuals opt in, we will keep anonymised survey data to evaluate the festival and plan for the future.

 

4. Media

Photography and video footage is taken during the event to celebrate and promote the festival on our website, Instagram and Facebook.

 

5. Volunteer team

If individuals opt in, we will need an email address to make sure that volunteers have all the information they need to contribute to a successful festival.

 

Data Sharing

SeekOut will not use individual data for any other purposes or pass it on to anyone else.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. Storage of Festival photography, video footage and Email lists are password protected.
