FAQs

Please note that SeekOut Arts & Music Festival is a family-friendly festival. Colours and festival wear is encouraged -this years arts theme will be announced soon!

Q1. I have a live-in vehicle – do I have to buy a parking ticket too?

Every vehicle you bring to SeekOut needs to be covered with a parking ticket. If you bring a live-in vehicle that is self-contained, you just have to buy a live-in vehicle parking pass. NO CARS ARE PERMITTED TO BE PARKED ON THE CAMPING FIELD.

Q2. Can I bring my Caravan?

Unfortunately Caravans will not be accepted at SeekOut Arts & Music Festival. This is due to spacing on the field. If you see any Caravans on site this will be for crew or artists only.

Q3. Can I bring an awning for my live-in vehicle?

Yes – the pitches are approximately 8m wide by 9m deep so ample space between you and the next line-in vehicle. There are limited pitches for live-in vehicles, don’t leave it too late to book.

Q4. Is glamping available?

Yes! There will be some glamping options! Please see further details when booking your tickets.

Q5. Is there electric hook-up for live-in vehicles?

No – sorry we’re not there yet!

Q6. Will there be showers?

Unfortunately there are no showers available on site but you will have access to drinking water. There will also be portable toilets available as last year.

Q7. Will there be food & drink, and will card payments be accepted?

Yes. There will be various food vendors available to choose from and a bar available for drinks. They will all accept card payments but please note that signal might drop out now and then at Gisburn Forest.

Q8. Can I bring a gazebo?

This year the camp site will be split up between individual pitches and an open area for more communal camping. We’d ask campers to be considerate, please only bring a gazebo if you are in a fairly large group with other friends or family members, while we are trying to make more space for everyone, we would request people do not bring unnecessary large tents and extra accessories for the sake of it.

Q9. Can we have camp-fires?

Sorry campfires won’t be permitted on the camping field itself – but a BBQ for cooking food (on bricks) is allowable. Please talk to the campsite volunteers who might be able to help you. There will be at least one stewarded, festival fire in the forest late at night.

Q10. Can we bring our dog?

Sorry, SeekOut is no-dog festival, anyone found with one will be asked to take their dog home immediately.

Q11. How do you become a volunteer?

SeekOut Arts & Musical Festival is indebted to the work of its volunteers and stewarding team to keep people safe and ensure a happy flow around the festival. If you would like to join our fantastic team and help deliver the event and look after our festival community, we would love to have you. Please email volunteers@seekoutfestival.co.uk and let us know what you might like to help with.

Two Wheeled Adventures with ICycle
For the ultimate eco-friendly and healthy journey, why not cycle? We’ve teamed up with ICycle, a fantastic bike shop in Clitheroe, who are offering festival hire for both electric and acoustic bikes. You can pick up your bike on Friday, cycle out to the forest, and keep it for the whole weekend. Perfect for a morning ride to clear your head before the music starts!

ICycle will provide locks and panniers if you want to carry your own gear, alternatively they are offering a combined service where they’ll deliver all your heavy bags and equipment straight to the festival for you.

Trains & Public Buses
For those travelling from further afield, Clitheroe Station is your gateway, with regular connections running from Manchester and beyond. On Friday, the Number 11 bus runs from the Clitheroe Interchange and will get you out to the forest. However, be aware that the Number 11 bus does not run on Sundays, and there is often a bus replacement service for the trains on Sundays too. While it's easy to get here, the Sunday return can be trickier—though you might just find you want to stay in the forest forever!

The Stress-Free Solution: The Little Green Bus
To solve the Sunday struggle, we are delighted to announce that we’ve teamed up with the Little Green Bus to provide a direct connection between Clitheroe Interchange and Gisburn Forest. For just £15 return, you can catch a dedicated festival shuttle bus. They will be running a service out on Friday and the return on Sunday to get you home safely.

A Round on Us!
Because using the shuttle or cycling are arguably the most eco-friendly ways to get to the festival, the Seek Out Arts and Music Festival crew want to say a huge thank you for supporting these green initiatives. To show our appreciation for helping us stay green, we will buy you a drink at the bar! Simply show your Little Green Bus confirmation email or your ICycle hire confirmation email at the box office, and the first one is on us.
